Everyone was surprised when the Tibs won the race to develop Plasma based weapons and they didn't waste time using them. With the energy coming from cloned Krilgorian powerplants, the Stinger's awesome array of guns delivers quite a punch. With no compatible alien shields yet salvaged, the most powerful Tibran designed shield is installed, which not being very extensive, leaves plenty of energy to go to speed.
