The frantic at the end of beta 6 saw a new format for frantic games. Instead of simply being a speeded-up version of the beta games, this frantic made everyone rogue, put them in Ajaxian Flights of Independance, and pitted them against each other in an every-man-for-himself free for all. Since every player with an active account was put into the game from the beginning (irrespective of whether they wanted to play or not) this resulted in about 170 ships in each sector at the start of the game, and some interesting tactics (since firing would make you very visible by moving you to the top of the list). A few impromptu alliances were formed in Taras, and one or two of these even lasted for a large part of the game. The game itself lasted for about a week before being called with about ten players left in, leaving Daven as top scorer.
