New page

Atmospheric Anomalies are freak events of nature that happen in random sectors at random times, but usually when you least expect it, or otherwise inconvenient times. The event seems to be triggered by pilots coming out of [[hyper]] mode, but that is just a theory.

Once triggered, a burst of energy races through the entire sector with light speed, with no possibility of escaping it. Due to the nature of this energy burst, all shields take a pounding and lose 25% of their capacity.
