::Being Destroyed::

All spacecraft have intelligent safety mechanisms that eject the pilot just before the ship is destroyed. Jettisoned pilots are automatically transported to the nearest friendly Transport Freighter and thrown straight back into the battle in a new ship.

If you were promoted then being destroyed earns you a reprimand and demotion back to Level 1. You are given the choice of a new Class 1 ship.

The first time your ship is destroyed in TVS, a new ship becomes available to you - the Repair ship. These ships are unarmed, but are heavily shielded. This ship has the ability to repair other ships in the same legion with points earned for repairing much the same as how fighters earn them for attacking.

The number of times you have wrecked ships is displayed on your 'Main Comp' page.
