−	I appeared in the world of TVS in Beta 4a. Despite signing up at the start, I left on holiday for immediately after; upon my return, I logged in to find masses of Ajax incoming to Tibrar. I was, of course, devastated. However, I managed to maintain a policy of being a silent newbie, and refrained from asking the typical questions. Once my first legion was finished, I ran away, only to find myself thoughtlessly murdered by scubasteve. Not having a clue what would happen next, I logged in; to my amazement, I found myself in a new legion. A pathetic legion; the first of many. My superb silent enthusiasm was demolished immediately, as I found myself watching the whole legion picking on one poor guy. The Legion Commander. Such an experience has swayed me from ever taking the job, seriously.

−	Having passed the silent stages of newb-dom, I completed the Beta 4 trilogy having seen too many failures, but the rise of my greatest LC, my first entry in Tara's, and the most frustrating game of my involvement. All completed while managing only one level 5 ship, which was destroyed three ticks later by a legion I've never forgiven. However, I did manage the feat again (thrice!) in the succeeding Frantic.

−	Moving away from the B4s, I thought I'd make a fresh start. I promised myself that I'd have a good legion; nothing would go wrong. It started superbly. I began in the most densely veteranated legion ever seen, we pulled through the first couple of days, populating almost all the top 15. I, of course, wasn't in it. But, as I should've already learnt, nothing goes right for me in TVS. Another leadership problem; I complained, even pleaded, to the legion. All my hopes for that legion were destroyed, I had my first dealing with the AWOL button. Despite being involved in the greatest ever "battle," in my opinion, my three legions all continued to failure.

−	Then came the dreaded Beta 6. I was on the Ajaxian "council," for whatever good it did. We inevitably failed. But, thanks to the greatest pilot I've encountered, my ship lasted to 96k - My greatest ever amount of points, but no cruiser. The Beta dragged on, as did my boredom. I did become VC for the first time in a Beta, only before retiring for the latter ticks. Beta 7 followed in the same vein, despite being the quickest of my involvement, it failed to produce anything of worthwhile interest, other than my first, and only, victory.
