Best Finishing Position: 4th in beta 8

Kurenai started playing The Violet Sector in beta 6, under the name Yanagi. She was assigned to the Tibran legion and joined The Naughty Tibrans (See squad informartion). Since the beta wouldn't end probably she was able to work herself up the rankings, until she picked up her carrier. At that time, she was one of the highest ranked Tibrans, but then she went off on a four-week vacation. When she got back she was surprised the beta was still running. As all the other pilots did who had stopped trying to win the beta, she finished it quietly, ending on about 25th-30th position if I remember correctly, in her Tibran carrier.

In beta 7, she deleted the old account and created a new one. Her new pilot, Kurenai, was assigned to the Boraxian legion and once again joined Llotyhy's squadron, the 'We are Bor'-squad (See squad information). This beta she decided to try to pick up a cruiser, which she did succesfully. Since the beta ended pretty quickly she didn't even reach the 100k mark, but finished the beta in her yellow cruiser 7th on rankings.

In beta 8, she became Ajaxian, and again (and hopefully not the last time) joined Llotyhy's squadron. She chose a repairer, because the legion lacked that type of ship pretty bad. She was number 1 pilot on more than a few occassions, until she was finally passed in score by the fabulously playing domador. She stayed second on the rankings, repairing the damaged Jax-fleet over and over again (at that time 14 ships out of the first 17 were repairers). When the Ajaxians started bombing things she lost her number two position. When domador was shot down she gained a spot, but at that time lost interest in the game and fell behind. She finished in fourth position. A notable fact is their Llotyhy-Kurenai squadron of ten players finished with an awesome score of 1,6 million points, possibly one of the best total scores of a squadron ever.

Regretfully, she is not sure if she can play beta 9 (or beta 8a frantic) because school takes away a lot of her time. We will see in the future if she can once again play TVS with the sheer devotion she had before.

+Llotyhy first saw the light as a Tibran in beta 6. He started his career in the Royal Tibran Navy as a fighter pilot with high combat skills, which was finally rewarded after 9 deaths with a state-of-the-art Tibran cruiser. Since that beta didn't end with the destruction of a third base, Wingee was forced to pull the plug at tick 1000, but reported this well in advance. Because no real orders existed anymore (tick 968), since the Tibrans were top of the main page score (the key to victory), Llotyhy hypered his shiny Green cruiser to the Roids and discovered two Boraxian level 1's in there. Killing the first Bor with his first move he received 1600 damage, which he didn't like at all, but since there was only one other Bor present in that sector he thought he'd kill the other one too and then head back for repairs. After firing his 2 PHI Juggernaut pulse lasers, he saw the explosion of the level 1 Bor with a smile at his face, but then looked at his viewscreen and saw the Roids approaching, 12750 damage... Goodbye Tibran cruiser!

+In his second beta, Llotyhy became a Boraxian, and started in a fighter. He lost his precious 'position two' ship at level 5 though, while trying to finish first in the entire beta. He immediately picked another fighter and shot his way up the rankings, killing as many enemies as possible. After a very tiresome race against the ticking beta-clock, he finished 8th on the rankings and 1st on the kill list. After this experience he decided to pick bombers from then on, because he had seen how important they were in killing off other legions. A second thing he decided is not to try to win on kills again.

+When beta 8 started, Llotyhy was chosen to fight for the Ajaxians. After losing his first two Blue Bird Bombers at level 2 and 4, he felt a bit demoralized, because he feared he couldn't win this beta either, but after picking up his cruiser after reaching 75000 points, he quickly made his way up the rankings until he finally arrived at the first spot. After a very interesting struggle with his 'Jax' comrade Boris, Llotyhy ended first in the end. Another interesting fact about this beta is, that Llotyhy was viceroy to the winning Legion Commander Jhyphi, for a large part of the beta.
