| − | I first joined TVS in beta 3, around tick 20, I jumped straight into a Shadow and cloaked in the home world, as noobs do. I flew around for a bit desperately trying to gain points and figure out the game. My first big battle was in Dreadlar, probably the best battle I have been in (and lost), it raged on for about a week with our casualties continuously mounting and the Krils just coming back 1 tick later in new ships and levelling up if we destroyed them, after the sudden destruction of our LC's ship (Dreemz) the entire legion retreated eventually ending up in RSC, I hyped in unwary of what lied ahead and got shot down for the first time practically the second the tick started by Gnorziak. After my first death I came back in a fighter and helped polish off the Krils after a triple alliance, the bors went around the left of the map finishing off everyone and I stayed a few ticks behind just shooting the lvl1 noobs who where left behind, I can't remember how exactly but I reached level 5. In my level 5 fighter with practically all combat skill I flew around separate from the blob for a while until the server had some sort of problem and everybody had to be put back in their home worlds and the game got set back by like 24hours, unaware of what had happened, I hyped straight into RSC which was where the Tib fleet had positioned themselves, I died within the first 5mins of the tick Monkey getting the final shot which destroyed me and sealing his fate as my no.1 target forever more. The rest of the beta was just a wash for me since I never played properly again after I lost my level 5.

| − | In beta 8, after mastering the art of game addiction and staying up extremely late from my It'sWar days I decided to give TVS another go, at the beginning I decided to just play fairly well and get a level 5. Still being some-what of a noob, even after being registered to TVS for over a year (!) I hyped straight into the roids as the first wave, I stupidly repaired someone who went into yellow, putting myself into second place and on yellow myself, so of course, I got shot down in about 5 minutes flat and was the second person to die. After this extream wakeup call I decided to be a lot more careful. I spent the next 2-3 days sitting in Apollo repairing people from the roids and spent those few days in the top 15, at this point I saw myself getting more and more addicted since first position was possibly within my grasp. After about 3 days in Apollo the Jax moved into Tripe to fight the bors, my two repairship comrades stayed in Apollo as a fallback sector but I wanted lots of points so I spent my time in Tripe going back and forth extremely terrified at the end of each tick that my death was imminent and spamming up the comms accordingly. I made it into 3rd place, to my extreme surprise, and managed to hold the position comfortably throughout the entire Tripe battle that lasted almost a week I think. After Tripe we moved around quickly to the bor comm tower leaving our highest repairship behind to get destroyed this occurrence, although sad, moved me into 2nd position. After a lot of battles and victories and a lot of sleepless nights, I finally got my reward; first position. At this point I went into extreme brag mode (not around my team mates obviously), as anyone who played It'sWar with me knows, this isn't a very good thing at all. After sitting in first for a week or so a stand-off began between the Jax and basically everybody else, only due to some 'cheating' as I see it the repair ships of the 3 opposing legions put ships in each others sectors and shot each other a little each tick so the repairships got tons of points. After a while I got bored with TVS again more and more people where going inactive and whole invasions where being planned on if I was online or not and I just couldn't handle it anymore so I gave up and retired my ship in Star City for the remainder of the game, it took 3 days for it to get destroyed by the bors (?). Boredom was setting in and it looked like this was turning out to be another endless beta, so me and a friend (Vespene) went rogue and decided to terrorise the galaxy, which we did fairly well, destroying a few level 5s at least 5 level 4s and a whole bunch of 3-1s we both got destroyed in Star City after almost both getting destroyed in Perosis, I died on something like 31800 points. Even after all this I became rogue again managed to cause some havoc, eventually quitting about 3 days from the end.
