Ajaxian squad 333 (Yes, THAT squad...)

"Waves for the squad333, the best cloakers/cruisers I ever meet !!!!!" (Sight, the poacher)

"That was the strongest squad I think I've been in, think I was the only non-cruiser by the end :-( lol" (ANThology)

"I remember they accused us of being multies, but didn't give it much attention. It usually happens to well coordinated squads." (Darlok)

"The greatest TVS comeback ever. (EwokDude?)

A new beta means new hopes every time. This is true, especially when you are newB. Beta 10 was my second game. I was very much keen on performing well. I got a shiny new Ajaxian cloaker from Wingee, the Galaxy was full of my ambitions. In spite of all the efforts we made, the start was miserable. The Boraxians almost managed to kick the Krills out of the game, so did the Tibrarians with us. Badly coordinated fights, scattered legion determined Ajaxus to be the weakest. We become so less important that the others simply ignored us. Mighty fleets of green and yellow roamed into and out of Ajaxian territory as it would be a picnic site. After the first 100 ticks the picture changed dramatically. Ajaxians emerged from the chaos, so strong that nobody could believe. The Tibrarian-Boraxian war ended up immediately when Green Power weakened to zero by the Jax. Fairly democratic decision, voting determined which big bottom has to be spanked as a starter...Soon after our first major victory Boraxians found themselves also under attack. The Krills were eager to take their revenge, so they joined us, let no hope for the Yellow to win the race. Unexpectedly the NAP was broken before the main battle, so the Bors survived.

The expedition forces gathered in RSC, but slower than healthy. Five, ten, twenty, forty. The ships continued to jump into the sector. Jax and Krillies in large amounts, arch-enemies on both sides. The tension was higher and higher, and then came the Big Boom. Nobody knows who started, but soon lots of people were slightly under attack. And then Mr Unknown Sticky Finger could not cope with his personal hatred any longer and started to fire at the wounded Boris, who jumped into Orichinagi's carrier. I know who was that, but I do not want him to have his 15 minutes fame here. (Not a member of our squad.) Krills of course blow him into pieces immediately. Then came the crisis, an angry and dirty quarrel within the legion. The waste majority of the Jax finally decided to fire "back". We won the battle, but lose our LC who resigned in shame.

The legion remained unified. At that time we were so good that we almost managed to win against all chances. On the way home we stomped a bit the yellow armada, than started to prepare for the upcoming siege of Ajaxus. We become public enemy number one, tri-NAP formed against us. The first siege was only foreplay, the three enemy fleets come in three waves. Too bad, all of them were sent home quickly, one by one. The second attack was a real pain, everybody jumped into Ajaxus within two ticks, it was very impressive, frightening attempt. But we could came up with the ultimate fire discipline. More than 30 Ajaxian ships were online in the same time. We were able to move within the same five minutes, and on top of that: able and willing to fire according to the target list. We won again. After the battle the Ajaxian legion counted more points that the other three altogether. The game flattened. We were stucked in Ajaxus, but the others have no courage to try again. Finally we decided to take the risk, and set sail to seek excitement. We went to Tibrar and burned it down. The enemy attacked our homeworld in the meantime, and we were late to go home. We arrived only one tick later than necessary, Ajaxus went boom, too. We took the risk and lose. The game ended up with a Krill victory, because the famous Jax cruisers decided to ruin Boraxus just for fun. At the end of the game 13 from the first 15 pilots were Ajaxian cruisers. The most powerful fleet, without a base... Nine of them were member of squad 333.

Ajaxian squad 333 alias "The Csorda" was formed by the very beginning of the beta, basically by Hungarians. A TVS vet, gurulo decided to give birth to a new squad. He had a dream of a squad, the dream of perfection. Same kind of ships and habits, huge amount of spams, humour and talks when in peace, and 100% efficiency at war. And so it was! Csorda (spell it tsordha) means herd in Hungarian, with a co-meaning of rampaging buffalos. I created the logo accordingly: a skull of a bull on an Ajaxian blue background, a small Hungarian flag to identify ourselves for those who are interested in such matters and a four-leafed clover for good luck. This was the best squad I have been so far, a damned good selection of crazy and devoted cloakers, the best spammers on the other hand.

During the days of doom we played for fun, ignored the stupid orders. We flew on our own, avoiding the blob. We soon became the biggest, maybe only Jax power; people started joining us in our ways. We become the blob, the driving force of the legion, the helping council for the LC. The whole legion gained a lot, and not only in terms of success. We have had a squad and a legion full of life, we have got one of the most exciting forums I in the TVS history. (For example does anybody remember the usage of each-other's languages? Getting a Portuguese or Dutch com is way too cool, isn't it?) In the meantime the squad grew up rapidly. We were sharp and quick, so well organised that the All Time Top was our private trophy room. In our high days only three of the biggest kills were not ours. (From the lesser five...)

I said we were organised, and it is true. Sadly enough we were so perfectly organised that delivers to suspicion. All the defeated ones blamed us as multies, large and frequently visited topics appeared in the common forum. The whole contest lasted longer than the beta itself. Almost everyone was involved, and had strict opinion, pros and contras. But anyway, we were famous for hundreds of ticks as the Ajaxian cruiser squad. Later on we became famous during the multi-inquisition. Double chance to be on Voxie's site! The list of known squad-mates for the compendium, in alphabetical order:

ANThology, Darlok, EwokDude, gregkb, gurulo, lezuz, Marklar, Motorhead, sight, Siuras, Valdano, zooler, Xin
