Squidboys quick and dirty beginers guide

If your ever in doubt send a message to the LC or VR

As to the purpose of the game kill stuff bomb planets dominate the galaxy

The basics Three hours per turn/tick (the terms are interchangable) Five moves a tick

Hypering takes three moves (access via nav com ((over there on the left)) hit the drop down select destination hit hyper) SPECIAL NOTICE you can not hyper during the first 5 mins or the last 15 of a tick, if you miss the EoT (end of tick) "jump window" tough your stuck, these exist to allow fleets to get kills

To see ships in sector use scanners (pretty obvious that one i know but sometimes....) as a fighter there will be points a plenty, due to bonus points for hitting bigger ships

A self repair function is available on the ships computer/main page and does 150 per use

Vacation Mode::

For holidays/vacations NB takes two days to engage, disengages as soon as you login to the game (can still access the forum without devacing).

Sleep Tick::

For the one tick that you CANT get up, always engages at the same time each day, cant shoot or be shot. If you think you can make all 8 ticks dont use it.

Any and all questions will be happily answered by people who are suffering from sleep deprivation and or a combination of drunkeness/hangover.

Join in on the spaming of the all friendlies comms just leave a gap of 20 mins either side of the turn change for orders and such.

Above all though HAVE FUN and enjoy the singular pleasure of blowing the snot out of all other legions, make friends then revel in the destruction of their ship at your guns in games to come. ;-P
