The boredom of beta 6 saw some changes to this beta. Comm towers were introduced to give scans (rather than making LCs carry them around), and measures were taken to make bases easier to kill. The Boraxians got ahead and stayed ahead in this beta. They elected Legion early as LC, who defeated a tri-NAP of the other three legions before going on to destroy the Ajaxian comm tower, Ajaxus, the Tib and Kril comm towers, Krilgore and finally Tibrar to win the game. There was essentially no doubt as to who the winner was going to be after the first couple of weeks, which might have been frustrating for non-Bors.
