Manwë was created somewhere during Douwe's third year at secondary school (thus at 15 years of age) and was a Krilgorian. Being friends with Jasper (Llotyhy), he wanted to play in the same legion and had to go rogue three times to end up as a Tibran. After becoming a proud Tibran with a bomber, the kid quickly learned the basics of the game and got more and more interested. A highlight in his career could be the Tibran carrier in béta 9/10, where the Tibrans had no power at all, but through the leadership of EwokDude nearly won the game with a knockout of both the Krilgorians and the Ajaxians. It did not come to pass, and The Carrier was even lost in the last turns of the game. However, it served it's legion well, as it frequently helped dozens of ships across the galaxy. Only after that time, Manwë did his share of VR, but never took the LC position. There were always other things taking too much time, or other people more fit to be LC. Councelling was lovely, but he could only admire the tactical knowledge of others most of the time. Names need not be mentioned. Sulimo came into existence when a brutal newbie claimed Manwë was a fraud and that he was the real Manwë. Due to this nickname already being picked in other games (like Hattrick), Douwe decided to change his account to Sulimo. As a few of you know (especially Boris, calling me a blasphemist), Manwë stems from the Silmarillion, a book founded on the scribblings of late JRR Tolkien. Manwë, in the world of The Lord of the Rings (Arda), was the god of the air (and the leader of the other 'good' gods). Sulimo was just another name for Manwë, in a different elven tongue to be exact. To this day, Sulimo has continued the legacy of Manwë, and will do so for generations to come.
